09 Mar Which wine for when? Michael’s Wine Review.

Meet Michael. Michael is based at our Bottle-O Wickham store. Michael likes wine. Alot.

Most Thursdays you will find Michael speaking to the many wine company reps that come in to the store. Due to his passion for fine wine he takes the time and effort to source only the best to add to the vast collection you will find in each of the express liquor stores.

Come on in for a recommendation, see what is new and get some on advice on what wine will suit that special occasion or dish.

Michael’s wine picks for this Month!

Travertine Hunter Valley Fiano 2015

This grape originated in the south of Italy, grown in the hunter and made in a fruit driven style, shows flavours of pear, honey and a musk on the nose. The honey is textural “not sweet” and balanced by spending a little time in Old French Oak – A great drink now wine.

Travertine Hunter Valley Pinot Noir 2013

Filled with berries and spice, showing soft and developed flavours, who said the hunter can’t make good pinot noir, even better, at a great price.
